India Arie has a beautiful song called “Ready for Love” and it has been a theme song of mine for the last past weeks.  I am unsure what that is about but God spoke something to me today about that phrase that woke me up.  He said, you say you are ready for love and ask why am I hiding from you but it is you who are hiding. I sat very still and looked inside of me and realized that I SAY I am ready for Love (relationship leading to marriage) but I am so afraid to give that little piece of me that I’ve held for so long.

For the women out there “waiting” for Mr. Right, be careful that you are not overlooking him.  Understand this as well: every man who crosses your path is not the man who you should be dating.  Some people are brought in your lives just to show you what you don’t need and some are to be friends only.

God is love and his love is unconditional.  Love is a beautiful thing and it is an emotion not feeling. Check your emotions….

Solomon 2:14 says “My dove in the clefts of the rock, in the hiding places on the mountainside, show me your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.”
