Waiting… why is it soo hard for us (huma race) to wait? Why must we be in such a hurry to go, move, do, be instead of just resting, knowing that our waiting is Gods plan.
This just came to me as I was getting annoyed at the fact that I was waiting for my brother to come from bowling so we could go hang out… the time I spent waiting wasn’t in vain. I had time to spend with my son watching X-Men 2 and them we watched Happy Feet (don’t judge us. We are #kidatheart ). Its not like I don’t spend time with him now but the point is, we need to learn to spend quality time with the ones we love. Tomorrow is not promised and the more we rush doing, being, seeing other things we are missing out on the little things.
The bible tells us that they that wait on the Lord shall have renewed strength and that we should not be anxious for nothing. So take the time and wait on doing, being, seeing… you may be missing out all along. 😉
