So… there was a question posed by a FBF: “If God were to send “The Right One” your way TODAY, are you in a position to receive him/her? How’s your prayer life? How are your finances & credit report? Are you still attached to OLD flames? Do you have your stuff in order?”

How does one answer that??? Are you ready? Are any of us ever fully ready? Does ready mean “perfect”? No, no one is perfect we are to mark the perfect man. In order to be ready to receive from God, you have to be open to hear and accept. If you have old baggage from other relationships that are weighing you down, then more than likely your hands will be too full to receive. Many of us have had our hearts broken, our credit a little leary, our money act a little funny.

Is there scar tissue from the old relationships still there (not just a scar)? A scar serves only to remind you that you have been wounded. But has God tried to do “surgery” on the scar tissue only to have to come back once again because you opened a door he closed? When a door is closed on a relationship, dont open it back up. Just like a wound, you have to allow the body (self) to heal itself (Jesus). If you abort the healing process scar tissue is formed. Once scar tissue has formed, it takes alot of massaging or new surgery just to have it removed. Are you ready to release and receive?

What’s your credit score? A credit score “is a numerical expression based on a statistical analysis of a person’s credit files, to represent the creditworthiness of that person”. Can you be trusted? The bible says that he will make us rulers over many if we be faithful over the few. Make sure that you aren’t soo deep in debt whereby the man/woman that has been “Sent” to you can’t see digging you out. Stop spending every dime you have to make an impression for someone who could care less if you wore the same shirt twice in a week. The economy is still shaky so you have to make sure that you if you are RIF’d tomorrow, you have a way to pay for you living, transportation and food. Are you ready to rebuild and receive?

My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness… So you say… but can you get a prayer through?? When you are going through can you see your way through enough to pray for your sister/brother? Prayer is key to releasing and receiving. Your connection to God is through prayer. Its not just a when you go to sleep or at cchurch but a constant conversation. Open up dialog with God so he can show you in his word the “Right One”. He will, if you allow him, to show you all that he has for you. And what God has for you, its for you. Are you ready to receive?

No one will be COMPLETELY ready when “The Right One” is sent, that’s why the mate is the HELP but it doesn’t mean that we can’t work on us. Just a thought 😉
