Welcome to Just Chantelle… My blogging place…
A little about me. I am a saved, married woman in the IT field with one man child. I love my family, job and life. This blog allows me to a) express my thoughts and b) share biblical experiences and encouragement.

My family is who God gave me. I do not just love them because it’s commanded of me to but I love them for who they are. Yes they got on my nerves for years. No they don’t always treat me right but they are mine… My son is my world. He has experienced many of my hurts, disappointments and sickness. We had trying years but the days are over and I am proud of the man he has become. My mom became my best friend (R.I.P. 6/30/2011) … I loved her to my core. She knew it and I’m glad that we could talk the way we did as I grew older. Growing up in a single parent home wasn’t easy but if everything was easy then there wouldn’t be a need to fight for anything. My father although distant was not distant in my life. We have a good relationship and I love him dearly.
God decided to send me a help meet in 2013. I didn’t see it at first but my best friend and husband is just what keeps me together. He knows my strengths and my weaknesses. We married after less than a year. (yes….) Our story is ever growing and it gets better day by day!
I love my career… Technology is always changing and I love to have the recent gadgets… I’ve worked and studied hard to get to where I am. I thank God daily for allowing me to carry around as much technical knowledge as I do 😉 It’s rough being a woman in the field but hey, someone has to do it.
I started my career in Accounting. I’ve always loved math. After 10 years, I decided to follow my passion in IT. Received my degree in Computer Systems (majoring in Programming). After my Associates from Strayer,I changed paths to Networking. Received my BS inComputer Information. After a few years,I got bored and returned back to graduate school and obtained my Masters in Telecommunications and Security. My final goal is to return to get my doctorate so that I can be Dr. Chanie 🙂
